Job Overview
We are seeking candidates for both Junior and Senior Finance & HR Executive positions at Music Rights Singapore based in Singapore. The roles encompass comprehensive financial accounting and HR management responsibilities to support company operations and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile full accounting records by preparing schedules, journal entries, and necessary documentation for monthly closings.
- Maintain fixed asset accounts and update financial systems to accurately reflect asset details.
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly and oversee receivables to ensure timely payments and refunds.
- Manage the completion of month-end and year-end financial closings and file GST reports adhering to statutory regulations.
- Assist with annual audits, tax returns, and local statutory filings by preparing audit documentation and schedules.
- Monitor and report irregular transactions and overdue debts to management for follow-up action.
- Contribute to budget creation, update financial forecasts, and conduct variance analyses to aid financial planning.
- Process monthly payroll calculations, including salary and commissions, and manage staff claims promptly and accurately.
- Administer HR policies and compliance monitoring to maintain effective operations.
- Carry out monthly CPF contributions and handle government-related claims such as NS reservist, maternity, and childcare leaves.
- Manage work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and coordinate staff repatriations efficiently.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
- Provide administrative assistance including office management, invoicing sales accounts, and liaising with internal and external parties.
- Engage in special projects as assigned to contribute to organizational goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience for the Senior role; minimum 1 year for the Junior role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks software is a plus but not mandatory.
- Preference for candidates available to start immediately.
