Role overview
An established venture capital partner is looking for a highly capable executive assistant to support a senior leader at a respected firm known for backing successful start-ups, pre-IPO unicorns, Fortune 500 businesses, and innovative technology companies.
What you'll handle
- Own complex scheduling across business and personal calendars.
- Coordinate travel, speaking commitments, and meeting preparation.
- Gather background research and prepare concise briefings.
- Manage highly sensitive and confidential information with care.
- Deliver daily debriefs and updates to keep priorities aligned.
- Organize and run CEO roundtables and other events from start to finish.
- Maintain the CRM system and keep records current.
- Work closely with portfolio companies and board members.
Compensation and setting
This is a fully in-office role based in New York City. The total compensation is approximately $180,000 to $200,000, along with a strong bonus structure, equity, benefits, and additional perks.
Required profile
- A four-year college degree is required.
- At least 8 to 10+ years of senior-level executive assistant experience is mandatory.
- You must have an excellent eye for detail and an error-free work style.
- Comfort with fast-changing priorities and a flexible schedule is essential.
- You should be quick to learn and use sound judgment when ranking tasks.
- An upbeat, high-energy, and personable approach is important.
- Strong intelligence and sharp thinking are expected.
