Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Encourage and support individuals to maintain independence and make autonomous decisions.
- Perform household duties to ensure a clean, safe living environment.
- Accompany and encourage participation in community and social engagements.
- Maintain adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing protocols.
- Foster strong, trusting relationships and manage accurate care documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Display a caring and empathetic attitude with a sincere dedication to helping others.
- Possess solid communication abilities and willingness to collaborate.
- Demonstrate flexibility for various shifts including evenings and weekends.
- At least six months’ prior experience supporting individuals with autism or learning disabilities.
- Hold or be pursuing a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Preferably trained in Autism Awareness and/or Positive Behaviour Support.
