Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Encourage and support individuals to maintain independence and make autonomous decisions.
• Perform household duties to ensure a clean, safe living environment.
• Accompany and encourage participation in community and social engagements.
• Maintain adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing protocols.
• Foster strong, trusting relationships and manage accurate care documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Display a caring and empathetic attitude with a sincere dedication to helping others.
• Possess solid communication abilities and willingness to collaborate.
• Demonstrate flexibility for various shifts including evenings and weekends.
• At least six months’ prior experience supporting individuals with autism or learning disabilities.
• Hold or be pursuing a Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Preferably trained in Autism Awareness and/or Positive Behaviour Support.
