About the Role
Curam Care Homes is seeking full-time and part-time Catering Assistants to contribute to creating nourishing meals and delivering excellent, resident-focused dining experiences that comply with food safety policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the kitchen and satellite kitchens in readiness for service.
- Assist with serving meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and teas from the kitchen or satellite kitchens.
- Carry out daily cleaning duties of kitchen and satellite kitchen areas.
- Record meal selections from residents accurately.
- Adhere to all dietary needs and HACCP food safety protocols.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Previous catering assistant experience is advantageous but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Possess a friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, coworkers, and visitors.
- Ability to cooperate well within a team environment.
- Food safety training such as HACCP is a plus, though training will be offered if not currently held.
- Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.
