About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) who will take complete responsibility for a defined geographic area by developing it as an independent business unit. This position goes beyond traditional sales by creating, expanding, and managing a local business ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the designated territory from scratch and grow it as an independent business entity.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of promoters, partners, and distributors.
- Identify potential local market opportunities and areas for growth.
- Educate teams by clearly explaining product features and the business model.
- Conduct group meetings to foster understanding and trust among stakeholders.
- Provide assistance and support to partners during their initial phase to ensure smooth onboarding.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Expand operations to new towns and markets within the territory.
- Regularly provide the company with insights and feedback about market trends and conditions.
Additional Information
This role demands strong execution capabilities, relationship management, and on-ground leadership with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges from 40,000 to 125,000 INR depending on experience and performance.
