Biology Expert

Job Overview

We are looking for a Biology Expert to join our team on a contract basis. This fully remote role involves evaluating biology-related materials used in AI workflows and providing detailed, expert feedback to enhance data quality and system accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly assess and offer constructive feedback on biological data, prompts, or content that supports AI development processes.
• Develop, review, and improve biological scenarios, questions, and explanations that represent complex, real-life biological challenges.
• Provide expert insights to ensure training datasets and AI outputs are accurate, relevant, and comprehensive in the field of biology.
• Work closely with platform teams to clarify uncertainties and boost data quality, scope, and representativeness related to biological subjects.
• Maintain thorough documentation of findings, methods, and justifications to uphold transparency and reproducibility.
• Engage actively in repeated review phases and ongoing evaluation to strengthen the AI system's biological capabilities.
• Contribute knowledge in interdisciplinary team sessions to enhance overall project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD degree in biology or a related life science discipline.
• Strong expertise in fundamental biological concepts with the ability to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clearly presenting feedback and scientific explanations.
• Experience in analyzing scientific data, critically evaluating research, and synthesizing complex information.
• Ability to work independently and consistently produce high-quality results within project scopes.
• Prior involvement in interdisciplinary projects, preferably with some exposure to AI.
• Meticulous attention to detail, consistency, and dedication to upholding scientific accuracy and quality.
