Biology Expert

Job Overview

We are seeking a Biology Expert to engage in a contract role working remotely. The expert will be instrumental in assessing and enhancing biological data and content used in AI development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform critical analyses and provide comprehensive feedback on biology-related data, prompts, and content integral to AI workflows.
• Develop, examine, and improve scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that illustrate sophisticated, real-life biological challenges.
• Deliver expert insights to guarantee the accuracy, pertinence, and depth of AI training data sets and output concerning biological fields.
• Collaborate with platform teams to resolve ambiguities, and enhance data quality, coverage, and representativeness of biological content.
• Record findings, methodologies, and reasoning to uphold transparency and reproducibility in project deliverables.
• Engage in repeated review cycles and continuous assessment to advance AI system capabilities in biology.
• Share expertise alongside interdisciplinary professionals to enrich project results.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in biology or a related life science area.
• Proven expertise in fundamental biological concepts, with an ability to explain complex topics to varied audiences effectively.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to clearly express feedback and scientific rationale.
• Experience in scientific data analysis, critical research assessment, and synthesizing detailed subject matter.
• Ability to work autonomously while consistently delivering superior quality work within project guidelines.
• Previous participation in interdisciplinary scientific or technology initiatives, familiarity with AI is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to fostering scientific accuracy and rigor.
