Job Overview
The Barista role at Coach focuses on delivering outstanding customer interactions and contributing positively to the store's sales and reputation by showcasing professionalism and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage guests warmly to create memorable experiences.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of the menu, merchandise, and Coach’s brand history.
- Promote sales by recommending beverages, food items, and merchandise, tailoring orders, and highlighting limited availability offerings.
- Assist in maintaining visual merchandising standards through floor setup and stock replenishment.
- Ensure cleanliness and uphold food safety standards while operating espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to craft drinks.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve challenges and exchange effective sales techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service and task delegation.
- Strong organizational capabilities and familiarity with food and beverage operational systems.
- Adherence to store policies including food safety protocols and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, busy seasons, public holidays, and other high-traffic retail times.
