Automotive Technician

Role overview

North Western Toyota is hiring a fully qualified Automotive Technician to join its Upper Hutt team in Wellington on a full-time, on-site basis. The position is for someone who can handle both diagnostic and hands-on mechanical work in a modern dealership environment.

What you'll do

• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance across vehicle systems.
• Complete repair work and other mechanical tasks as required.
• Road test vehicles to identify faults or performance issues.
• Work closely with service advisors to support smooth workshop operations.

What the employer is looking for

• A valid New Zealand driver's licence.
• WOF certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain it.
• Applicants must be fully qualified as an Automotive Technician, with at least an NZQA-assessed Level 4 qualification and 1 year of relevant experience.
