Role Overview
This position supports warehouse and logistics operations within a pharmaceutical/biotech environment in Singapore. The role focuses on accurate inventory handling, GMP-compliant documentation, shipment support, and safe operation of material-handling equipment to keep production supplied without disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and issue materials promptly and accurately from the internal warehouse and 3PL partner so production activity is not delayed.
- Prepare and raise damage reports, material disposition approvals, and related tracking documents for inventory movement.
- Update SAP transfer orders correctly to match the actual physical movement of goods.
- Assist with investigations into stock variances and any breaches of GMP or EHS procedures.
- Handle raw material sampling for laboratory testing in line with standard procedures.
- Take part in regular cycle counts, including physical counts, recount checks, verification counts, and tabulation entry, while keeping inventory records accurate.
- Ensure documents are properly filed and SAP data entries are completed correctly.
- Support outbound shipments by land, sea, and air, ensuring packing and stuffing are completed on schedule for dispatch.
- Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and VNA equipment according to safety and operating guidelines.
- Keep equipment and vehicles in good condition by arranging preventive maintenance on time.
- Maintain a tidy and safe workplace, including shelves, pallet zones, and workstations.
- Work with sterile and hazardous materials when required.
- Help develop and improve warehouse SOPs.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Supply Chain, ITE, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a GMP warehouse setting.
- Strong working knowledge of GMP, including good documentation practices and sampling requirements.
- Able to sample both solid and liquid raw materials.
- Comfortable with changing schedules, overtime, and 12-hour shift work.
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-moving and demanding environment.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and supportive of overall team efficiency.
- Forklift licence is an advantage; experience using stackers and VNA equipment is required/preferred.
- Prior SAP system experience is preferred.
- Based in Tuas; transport is provided.
Contract Details
This is a 12-month contract role.
