Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for managing inventory, organizing storage, dispatching materials, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role involves working closely with various teams to maintain efficient material handling and supply chain operations.
Key Duties
- Oversee receipt and inspection of incoming goods to confirm accuracy and quality standards.
- Maintain precise inventory records through manual or electronic systems and carry out regular stock verifications.
- Systematically arrange stored items for easy access, labeling and categorizing them in accordance with company procedures.
- Keep storage areas clean, secure, and aligned with safety protocols.
- Prepare and release materials or equipment on request, coordinating with project teams to ensure prompt delivery.
- Document all dispatched goods meticulously for tracking purposes.
- Identify and notify supervisors regarding low stock, surpluses, or damaged items and recommend improvements for inventory management.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations to avoid accidents, loss, or damage.
- Work collaboratively with procurement, logistics, and project teams by providing timely updates regarding stock status and operational concerns.
