Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual starting their production career who demonstrates strong organizational skills, initiative, and eagerness to learn. This hands-on role involves supporting video production processes from initial planning stages through final delivery, working alongside experienced producers and directors on dynamic shoots throughout the UK.
Responsibilities
- Assist producers and directors during shoots by managing logistics and ensuring smooth production flow.
- Engage professionally with high-profile contributors to maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming atmosphere on set.
- Handle media asset transfers, backups, and storage across physical and cloud platforms securely.
- Support the Creative Producer by preparing call sheets, schedules, and essential production documents.
- Coordinate communication among team members, freelancers, and stakeholders to ensure information availability before shoots.
- Proactively identify and resolve production-related challenges to prevent escalation.
- Conduct production research, perform administrative duties, and provide general assistance during shoots.
- Regularly travel across the UK to support location shoots, with flexibility to work beyond typical office hours as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Ideal for those beginning their production career with experience from education, internships, freelance projects, or personal production activities.
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Confident communicator capable of engaging professionally and amicably with diverse individuals.
- A proactive learner with adaptability and composure in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Competent digital user familiar with cloud-based systems and quick to grasp new production workflows.
- Interest in social media, digital storytelling, and UK political affairs.
- Willingness and availability for frequent UK travel.
- A valid UK driving license is advantageous but not mandatory.

- A four-day workweek arrangement (0.8 Full Time Equivalent).

- Competitive remuneration aligned with industry standards and dependent on experience, with a salary of A328,800 annually for the 0.8 FTE role (equivalent to A336,000 full-time equivalent).
