User Experience Designer

About the Role

Join Tonic3 as a Digital Designer/UX UI Designer and contribute to an in-house agency environment where creativity meets strategy. Collaborate across teams to design digital experiences that captivate and engage audiences nationwide, notably impacting how users interact with a prominent Fortune 500 brand. This role focuses on developing accessible and user-centered digital interfaces including websites, landing pages, and interactive elements, ensuring a harmonious blend of creativity, ease of use, and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Create user-friendly digital designs for multiple platforms such as websites and interactive assets.
• Collaborate closely with creative peers to optimize the user journey through design improvements.
• Implement best practices related to accessibility and usability in all design projects.
• Customize visual assets to suit diverse audiences, platforms, and environments.
• Efficiently manage several projects, delivering timely results with high quality.
• Research and incorporate emerging design trends, tools, and methodologies to enhance user experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Over five years of professional experience specializing in UX/UI and digital design.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Thorough understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and design systems.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS is advantageous.
• Expertise in producing wireframes, prototypes, and polished visual designs.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG and inclusive design approaches.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas into intuitive design solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in presenting and defending design choices.
• Adaptability to refine designs based on user feedback, testing, and data analysis.
• Highly detail-oriented with refined skills in layout, typography, and overall visual aesthetics.
• Organized, self-driven, and capable of juggling competing priorities in dynamic work environments.
• Passion for continuous learning about contemporary UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices.
• Experience working in an agency setting is mandatory.
• Submission of an online portfolio or portfolio website showcasing UX/UI and digital marketing designs is required.

Compensation and Location

• Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000.
• Work schedule consists of three days on-site and two days remote weekly.
• Office locations include Schaumburg, IL and Irving, TX.
