About the Role

Our client is a well-established manufacturer in the plastics packaging sector, offering both rigid and flexible packaging solutions. They are seeking a seasoned Treasury Accountant with strong attention to detail to support the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Handle bank-related transactions, cash disbursements, and treasury accounting records.
Keep liquidity at healthy levels and build accurate cash flow projections.
Spot potential cash flow exposures and take steps to reduce them.
Follow internal treasury procedures and financial control requirements.
Monitor and analyze finance-related costs.
Administer financial assets as well as investment activity.
Supervise the use of financing tools such as loans, overdrafts, and trade finance facilities.

Qualifications & Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required.
Professional certification such as CPA(K), ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of experience in treasury operations, banking, cash management, or a similar finance position.
Working knowledge of treasury processes, banking platforms, and financial controls is important.
Strong analytical ability and numerical accuracy are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate integrity, carefulness, and a strong compliance orientation.
Good communication and report-writing skills are needed.
The role requires someone who can perform well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
