Overview
This role is situated at 9886 Torbram Rd, Unit 107, Brampton, ON L6S 3L9, Canada. The telecommunications service tester is responsible for identifying and rectifying faults in telecom equipment, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and locate faults within telecommunications devices and initiate repairs or replacements as necessary
- Perform inspections and tests to verify the proper functioning of telecom equipment
- Accurately document all testing and service activities by maintaining detailed reports
- Analyze and determine the root cause and precise location of equipment issues
- Assign appropriate repair staff to resolve identified problems promptly
- Utilize computerized testing platforms to evaluate service quality on customer lines and devices
- Interpret technical blueprints accurately to facilitate troubleshooting and repairs
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary (high) school education
- Experience ranging from 12 to 24 months in a relevant telecommunications role
