Team Lead - Hub Operations

Role Overview

As a Team Lead at Flipkart Internet Pvt Ltd based in Hosapete, you will oversee hub operations with a strong focus on meeting operational standards and driving team performance. This role involves supervising teams involved in shipment sorting and last mile delivery, managing resource allocation, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hub opening and closing in compliance with operational guidelines.
• Oversee the Sorters responsible for receiving shipments, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Plan and allocate shipments among bike and van delivery personnel based on available resources.
• Train and update team members on operational standards and procedures.
• Sort shipments according to designated delivery routes.
• Create daily Runsheets and Pickup sheets, assigning tasks to Warehouse Managers (WMs).
• Prepare reports, manage email communications, and execute ERP transactions.
• Compile and share end-of-day reports detailing operational metrics.
• Handle cash collection, accounting, and perform reconciliation with ERP data.
• Occasionally assist in deliveries and pickups to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Motivate and manage the assigned team, paying attention to attrition control, grievance resolution, employee growth, and customer escalation prevention as per OKRs.
• Support seamless integration of new organizational policies and processes.
• Monitor undelivered shipments via ERP, contacting customers to determine causes for non-delivery.
• Track real-time performance of Wish Masters to ensure timely delivery completion.
• Assist Wish Masters during deliveries and take necessary corrective actions.
• Ensure zero unexplained stock variance at the hubs daily.
• Achieve Key Performance Indicators aligned with company goals for the Team Lead role.
