Role Overview
This position focuses on collaborating with line management to identify workforce requirements, attract and select top talent, and implement employee development programs to ensure successful hiring and retention. The role supports Fagron's operations across various sites and is based in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to define job vacancy requirements and candidate qualifications, screening for suitable experience and attitude; collaborate with management at Wichita locations to ensure adequate staffing.
- Create and manage job postings via the Fagron recruitment system; identify recruitment channels and proactively source candidates to build a diverse talent pool.
- Conduct candidate interviews and coordinate decision-making with line management to select optimal candidates.
- Analyze recruitment and employee performance data to recommend and implement improvements in HR processes.
- Organize external and internal training sessions for individuals or groups to promote employee development, including training new managers on interview procedures.
- Contribute to projects on recruitment, career development, performance evaluation, competency frameworks, and strategic HR initiatives.
- Represent the company at job fairs, employer branding events, and social gatherings to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
- Serve as a superuser of the Fagron recruitment tool and online assessments to support colleagues in optimal utilization.
- Maintain and update professional HR knowledge and technical skills to maximize effectiveness within the organization.
- Manage personal time off requests (PTO and VPTO) according to company policies via the timekeeping system.
- Assist HR Business Partner with various initiatives, including volunteer and internship programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or HR.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

- Proven success in maintaining strong candidate relationships.
