Job Overview

The Supply Chain Analyst role in the Shaw Stainless and Alloy division focuses on analyzing inventory levels, purchasing activities, and supply chain data to ensure alignment between supply, customer demand, and organizational goals. This position entails developing innovative reporting and analytical tools that aid in purchasing decisions, optimizing inventory, and enhancing operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and coordinate with internal sales teams to address customer and supplier concerns.
• Create various reporting models and structures to support decision-making processes.
• Conduct market condition research to inform purchasing strategies and anticipate supply challenges.
• Analyze supply chain data to pinpoint and implement efficiency improvements.
• Engage in business projects supporting both new and existing operations to improve overall supply chain effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
• Preferably experience in the steel industry.
• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing supply chain role, including familiarity with ERP systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
