About the Role

As a Supply Chain Operations Associate at Accenture, you will be involved in managing various aspects of supply chain operations including planning, procurement, distribution, and aftermarket services. Your role will be crucial in helping clients achieve significant cost savings by optimizing supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure consistent product availability while avoiding excess stock and stock shortages.
• Develop and implement replenishment plans grounded in sales data, forecasts, and inventory trends.
• Collaborate with suppliers to manage order cycles, delivery timelines, and lead times, fostering strong partnerships for smooth supply chain functioning.
• Place purchase orders aligned with forecasted demand and inventory status to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Analyze sales figures, inventory status, and supplier performance to guide effective replenishment strategies.
• Coordinate with the demand planning team to review and adjust forecasts considering seasonal variations and market conditions.
• Execute cost control measures to maintain purchasing within budget without sacrificing product quality or availability.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues such as delays, disruptions, or inventory inconsistencies promptly.
• Work cross-functionally with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams to streamline processes.
• Perform problem-solving on less complex issues and handle day-to-day operational tasks under moderate supervision.
• Communicate regularly with peers and supervisors within Accenture, with limited client interaction.
• Operate primarily as an individual contributor within a team environment focusing on specific tasks and responsibilities.
• Be prepared to work rotational shifts as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold any graduate degree.
• Have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations or related fields.
