Supply Chain Analyst

Position Overview

Join our supply chain operations team as a Supply Chain Analyst on a contract basis. In this role, you will actively participate in shaping forecasting procedures, managing inventory control, assisting with replenishment efforts, and driving continual improvements within the supply chain function. The position plays a critical role in creating innovative logistics pathways, constructing decision support models, and balancing cost versus service considerations to boost operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the formulation of enhanced forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision methodologies.
• Assist in central replenishment tasks, including developing advanced forecasting tools and inventory prediction techniques.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams to strategize around promotions, pricing adjustments, and product phase-out plans.
• Generate and update diverse reports and dashboards to monitor essential supply chain metrics.
• Oversee daily replenishment operations and respond to inquiries from store and distribution personnel.
• Monitor inventory metrics diligently and investigate discrepancies.
• Create decision support tools and financial analyses to evaluate inventory cost-benefit tradeoffs.
• Examine multi-tier distribution systems to assess cost and service tradeoffs across product lines.
• Build forecasting models that enable joint planning with suppliers.
• Perform routine business analysis supporting supply chain management.
• Lead supply chain process enhancement projects by coordinating stakeholders, identifying owners, and allocating resources.
• Promote understanding and adoption of new processes among supply chain stakeholders.
• Research and integrate best practices within the supply chain domain.
• Formulate strategies to back supply chain business case development.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in supply chain, operations, or related fields.
• Proficient in advanced Excel techniques, including data analysis, pivot tables, and formula creation.
• College degree required; degrees in supply chain or business-related fields preferred.
• For one opening, experience with Tableau and Google BigQuery is mandatory; for another, solid Excel skills suffice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in supply chain or operations.
• Experience in forecasting or demand planning.
• Knowledge of distribution center functions and inventory management.

• Google BigQuery (required for one position, optional for another).
