Role Overview
The Senior Manager - Human Resources Business Partner based in Bengaluru will serve as a key advisor to business leadership, steering the people strategy in alignment with company goals. This role demands a strong balance of strategic partnership, talent management capabilities, organizational development, employee engagement, leadership in change management, and a focus on analytics within a fast-paced technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and HR leadership to formulate and enact a tailored people strategy incorporating a global talent management framework.
- Analyze business operations to recommend workforce-related enhancements that deliver value.
- Provide expert HR consultation on leadership development, team effectiveness, and organizational improvements, ensuring equitable and consistent application of HR programs and policies.
- Advise on talent implications for strategic and organizational changes while leading related change initiatives.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives for the organization.
- Leverage data analytics to foster insightful discussions and drive decision-making with business heads.
- Coordinate with business units and Centers of Excellence (such as Rewards, Organizational Development, and Learning & Development) to refine program designs and operational procedures to meet evolving needs.
- Promote a high-performance culture by managing the performance management system effectively.
- Spearhead people development and talent strategies that reflect the unique context of the business.
- Coach and mentor management and leadership teams to support their professional growth.
- Utilize total rewards principles, including compensation and benefits, to influence essential business actions.
- Collaborate on proactive retention efforts and develop strategic plans to mitigate attrition ranging from short to long term.
- Play an active role in assessing the cultural alignment of managerial candidates.
- Drive knowledge sharing and upskilling initiatives within the HR team.

Candidate Profile
- 15 to 18 years of experience specifically in HR Business Partner roles, leading one or multiple business units.
- Strong commercial insight with an eagerness to comprehend operational and cross-departmental linkages as well as market trends, using this understanding to inform HR-related actions.
- Superior communication, influencing, and collaboration skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
- Proven capability to partner with executive leadership in rapidly expanding, complex business environments.
- Excellent consultation and diagnostic skills, combined with thorough planning and execution abilities.
- Expertise in developing and articulating new HR initiatives’ value propositions and managing corresponding change communications.
- Ability to gather consensus and build support among diverse stakeholder groups, aligning efforts towards shared objectives.

- Experience enhancing managerial and leadership capacity within business units.
