Position Overview

The Script Supervisor role at Neo Film School is a full-time, on-site position located in Aluva. The primary responsibility is to ensure script continuity throughout classes, rehearsals, and practical shooting exercises by monitoring dialogue, action, and scene consistency meticulously. The incumbent will collaborate closely with directors, teaching staff, and student production teams, managing script changes, maintaining comprehensive notes, and coordinating revisions during both pre-production and production phases.

Daily Responsibilities

• Thoroughly reviewing scripts and preparing detailed breakdowns.
• Coordinating all script-related materials and documentation.
• Supporting film and television production exercises conducted within the school environment.
• Guiding students on industry best practices concerning script supervision, continuity, and professional screenplay writing.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Proficiency in screenplay analysis and writing, with capability to annotate and enhance script materials.
• Experience and understanding of TV production workflows, including pre-production scheduling and on-set protocols.
• Knowledge of business continuity planning, especially relating to production continuity, risk assessment, and documentation processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong organizational ability to maintain accurate continuity logs and script notes.
• Background in film or television production, ideally with experience in script supervision or assistant directing roles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively liaise with directors, faculty members, and student groups.
• Familiarity with industry-standard scriptwriting and production software such as Final Draft, Celtx, and scheduling tools is advantageous.
• Preferred academic qualifications in film studies, media, communications, or relevant fields, or equivalent practical experience.
