About the Role

Join the Safer Schoolies Initiative as a Project Officer dedicated to fostering safe and enriching experiences for Queensland's Year 12 school leavers. This pivotal role involves overseeing a large volunteer base, coordinating impactful educational outreach, and collaborating with multiple government and community organizations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people during Schoolies celebrations across the Gold Coast and other destinations within Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Safer Schoolies Volunteer Program, including recruitment, comprehensive training, accreditation processes, and ongoing coordination of over 200 committed volunteers.
  • Facilitate and promote bookings for the Safer Schoolies education program, support presenters, and utilize participant feedback to enhance educational materials and engagement.
  • Coordinate program timelines, tasks, and milestones to guarantee timely delivery of all objectives and initiatives.
