About the Role
Currie & Brown is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join their Brisbane team. This position focuses on overseeing defence-related projects, ensuring successful completion while meeting stringent military standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct full lifecycle management of defence infrastructure, construction, and engineering initiatives.
- Create and oversee project timelines, budgets, and plans.
- Facilitate collaboration with clients, contractors, consultants, and government bodies.
- Maintain strict adherence to defence policies, security protocols, and health and safety standards.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage procurement activities, including tendering and contract management.
- Track and report project progress to stakeholders regularly.
- Conduct project meetings to ensure clear communication between all involved parties.
- Handle contract variations, claims, and amendments.
- Guarantee quality assurance and compliance with all project design specifications.
