  • Maintain meeting spaces and common areas in a presentable manner.
  • Plan and coordinate necessary repairs and office upgrades.
  • Deliberate office budgets and monitor recurring expenses.
  • Lead workplace safety initiatives and ensure adherence to office policies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for office-related issues, resolving them expediently.
  • Design and foster an office environment that employees enjoy attending daily.
  • Organize team building: lunches, social events, celebrations, company gatherings, and offsite activities.
  • Provide an outstanding onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives that cultivate team unity.
  • Collect and act on employee feedback to enhance the workplace experience.
  • Recognize and celebrate milestones including birthdays, anniversaries, and company achievements.
  • Support executive leadership with light administrative tasks, meeting coordination, and office logistics.
  • Assist cross-functional projects aimed at improving company operations.
  • Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and accountable office culture with high standards for shared spaces.
  • Handle routine workplace concerns with diplomacy, professionalism, and discretion.

Required Qualifications

  • Between four and eight years of experience in office management, workplace experience, people operations, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Preferred experience managing offices ranging from 20 to over 100 employees.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver who anticipates issues before they arise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to conduct challenging conversations with professionalism, fairness, and respect.
  • Sound judgment coupled with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • A passion for creating excellent experiences and fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.
  • Energetic and positive demeanor who leads by example and contributes to cultivating the company's culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in startup or high-growth companies.
  • Skill in organizing company events and employee engagement programs.
  • Vendor and facility management background.
  • Basic budget management and procurement proficiency.

Success Metrics

  • Successfully establish an efficiently run and well-organized office environment.
  • Define and enforce clear office standards recognized and respected by employees.
  • Become the trusted point of contact for workplace-related matters.
  • Develop recurring office traditions and events that enhance company culture.
  • Make the New York office an inviting and enjoyable place to work.
  • Build strong, professional relationships across teams while demonstrating responsibility and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000.
