About the role

DLF is an international seed cooperative based in Denmark. In New Zealand, PGG Wrightson Seeds operates as a subsidiary, while DLF Seeds represents the business in Australia. The organisation supports both domestic and overseas markets across the full seed value chain, from research and development through to seed supply and on-farm assistance.

This Christchurch-based opportunity is for someone ready to build a marketing career. The team is seeking a driven full-time Marketing Coordinator to support a wide range of marketing activity across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and roll out marketing campaigns, sponsorship activities and other business support tasks.
• Create promotional and advertising materials.
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager, Business Unit Managers, Brand Managers and broader marketing colleagues.
• Support exhibitions and events throughout New Zealand.
• Build and manage social media content across the organisation’s platforms.
• Deliver marketing communications and sponsorship-related initiatives.
• Liaise with the New Zealand business unit, including PGG Wrightson Seeds employees, customers, marketing colleagues and external agencies, to coordinate materials and activities.

Skills and experience

• A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a similar field is preferred.
• About 12 months of experience in marketing, advertising or communications is ideal, particularly in agribusiness or the primary sector.
• Strong capability in website content administration and social media management.
• Ability to offer practical marketing guidance and support to different stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to adjust messaging for varied audiences.
