Role Overview
The Luxury Portfolio Manager will lead the MHUSA luxury specialist function and help shape portfolio strategy across the MH portfolio. This role works closely with the Portfolio Director on brand planning, pricing, and execution, while also strengthening relationships in the market to create a competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the luxury specialist team, including hiring, onboarding, training, development, sales execution, recaps, and sharing best practices.
- Manage a light-house account universe of 15 key accounts.
- Run daily and weekly leadership routines, including one-on-one and team meetings, goal setting, and follow-up on priority initiatives.
- Handle portfolio management activities such as inventory checks, allocation coordination, goal phasing, sell sheets, and GSMs.
- Track market wins, prepare sales reports, manage budgeted market spending, and coordinate marketing programs such as display enhancers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top key off-premise and on-premise accounts.
- Partner with the Portfolio Director to support strategic brand planning, pricing decisions, and broader portfolio execution.
Qualifications
- A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or another relevant field is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in premium on-premise settings, hospitality, mixology-focused accounts, or white-tablecloth restaurants.
- Strong connections and solid market knowledge within the local mixology community.
- Experience creating cocktails in on-trade environments and delivering wine and champagne training.
- Strong understanding of premium international spirits, champagne, wine, and the competitive landscape.
- Prior experience as a brand ambassador is an advantage.
- Demonstrated customer service capability, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a history of achieving sales results.
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and effective time management.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected annual salary for this role is between $100,000 and $115,000, based on factors such as experience, education, and skill level. The role also includes eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
