Position Overview
This role is designed to support the 7IM Investment Management team by engaging in meaningful projects essential to the business. Over a 36-month period, the trainee will develop skills and industry knowledge, ultimately working with their manager to decide on a career path within the team.
Role Purpose
This opportunity marks the beginning of a career in the Investment Management sector, offering insights into the company's culture, values, and award-winning client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a 36-month rotational program gaining exposure to areas such as Portfolio Management, Strategy, and Investment Solutions.
- Contribute actively to daily business operations and specific projects, either independently or collaboratively, involving multiple business stakeholders.
- Tasks include collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, reviewing investment products, assisting with presentations, and coordinating with other teams to fulfill client requests.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Capable of managing multiple duties simultaneously with precision and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to foster relationships within and across teams.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
- Independent work ethic with initiative-taking capability.
- Strong numerical aptitude and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis.
- Basic understanding of investment and wealth management concepts.
