Junior Business Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to collect, interpret, and record business requirements.
• Help define project scope, goals, and functional specifications using user needs and business workflows.
• Support process improvement work by spotting inefficiencies and suggesting solutions backed by data.
• Research business challenges and assess how technology can address them.
• Help prepare project proposals, including problem statements, solution options, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Create supporting documents such as reports, process maps, and models to aid decisions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to keep initiatives aligned and moving toward successful delivery.
• Provide continuing analytical and technical assistance to the team.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, plus strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working both on your own and as part of a team.
• Adaptable, quick to learn, and motivated to grow in the position.

Preferred exposure

• Background in business analysis or requirements gathering.
• Experience with SQL or data analysis.
• Familiarity with UX/UI ideas or tools such as Figma.
• Exposure to Visual Studio or similar technical development environments.
• General awareness of how technology supports business operations.
