Job Overview
Join the Mental Health Employment Support Service as a Job Coach and contribute to transforming lives through meaningful employment. This role is centered around supporting individuals with mental health challenges to secure and sustain paid work, guided by the nationally recognised Individual Placement & Support (IPS) approach. Ideal candidates will share a passion for aiding recovery and enabling vocational success.
Key Duties
- Assist mental health service users throughout their employment process, including setting goals, conducting job searches, engaging with employers, and providing ongoing support once employed.
- Operate within the IPS framework to deliver evidence-based support and guidance.
- Participate in full IPS training and benefit from peer support networks as well as scheduled supervision sessions.
- Embrace flexible work arrangements with a primary base located in Taunton, complemented by travel across neighboring localities as necessary.
