Role overview
Join a respected investment management business that oversees capital for private and institutional investors. The firm is expanding its portfolio across technology, sustainability, and infrastructure, and is known for supporting innovative companies that combine financial performance with meaningful environmental outcomes. You’ll work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and gain broad exposure to the full investment process.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate potential investments through financial analysis, commercial due diligence, and preparation of materials for the investment committee.
- Support the execution of transactions, including negotiations, legal paperwork, and closing activities.
- Work alongside portfolio businesses to review performance, assist with governance, and spot opportunities to create value.
- Help with fundraising efforts, investor engagement, and the preparation of reports and communications for investors.
Experience and skills
- Ideally 2–4 years of experience in investment management, corporate finance, transaction advisory, venture capital, private equity, banking, or a closely related financial services environment.
- Solid financial analysis and modelling capability, with the judgement to evaluate business performance, investment prospects, and commercial risk.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to produce reports, presentations, and investment documents for senior stakeholders.
