Job description
Overview
Khadasha Innovations Africa is actively hiring for multiple full-time positions within the Real Estate and Oil & Gas industries. Among these is a pivotal role for a Human Resources Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience, specifically tailored for the oil and gas environment. This leadership role requires hands-on management and comprehensive expertise in workforce and HR strategy within complex operational settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement HR strategies and workforce planning that align with business goals.
- Lead recruitment processes and talent acquisition efforts.
- Manage mobilisation of project and field workforce effectively.
- Oversee performance management, including performance improvement plans.
- Handle employee and industrial relations, fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, standard operating procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Manage contractors and third-party workforce relationships.
- Coordinate learning, development programs, and competency assessments.
- Drive change management initiatives and organizational development projects.
- Align people management with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Provide HR analytics, reporting, and readiness for audits.
- Draft and review memorandums of understanding (MOUs), agreements, and organizational documentation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in human resources management within oil & gas, energy, engineering, EPC, marine, offshore, or technical service sectors.
- Possession of professional HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is advantageous.
- Legal and compliance experience within the HR function is a plus.
Location and Work Arrangement
This position is located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, with a full-time, onsite working arrangement.
