HR Business Partner

Overview

NZ Safety Blackwoods, New Zealand's foremost supplier of industrial and safety products and services, is inviting applications for an HR Business Partner role. This position offers the opportunity to work across diverse functions such as retail, supply chain and distribution, sales, marketing, finance, and IT, providing exposure to a broad business spectrum.

Role Summary

We seek a professional with strong relationship management capabilities, sound HR expertise, and the confidence to guide leaders through all HR processes. This role is also suitable for experienced HR Advisors ready to advance into a business partnering capacity, supported by appropriate training and scope.

Reporting to the Head of People, Safety, and Sustainability, you will manage your client portfolio and work closely with leaders throughout the employee lifecycle. Your contributions will extend to various people-focused projects and broader organizational transformation initiatives within a complex B2B environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Knowledgeable in New Zealand employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of managing conflict constructively.
• Adaptable and pragmatic in a fast-moving, multi-site operational context.

A relevant tertiary qualification and experience working in a multi-site company are advantageous. For HR Advisors, readiness to function at a business partnering level, including influencing leaders and managing complexity, is essential.
