Role Overview
Based in London with a hybrid work model (3-4 days onsite weekly), this permanent position is ideal for recent graduates passionate about mathematics, data, AI, and solving real-world business challenges. The role involves engaging directly with data and AI technologies from day one, driving innovation and contributing to solution development rather than traditional observation or training.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of EXL's data, AI, and analytics offerings along with industry landscapes.
- Conduct research on new trends across multiple sectors such as insurance, retail, healthcare, life sciences, and financial services.
- Identify opportunities to transfer successful innovations between industries.
- Utilize AI platforms including Claude and other generative AI tools to co-create novel ideas, solutions, and client proposals.
- Assist in preparing presentations, thought leadership content, and client-facing materials.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Translate complex research into engaging, visually appealing PowerPoint presentations.
- Contribute innovative concepts for internal forums and idea challenges.
- Collaborate with senior experts to refine new initiatives shaping EXL’s data and AI portfolio.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Recent Bachelor's or Master's graduate, preferably in mathematics or a closely related analytical field.
- Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or AI with academic projects involving data analysis, machine learning, AI, or modeling.
- Natural curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and industry trends.
- Confident and clear communicator with excellent presentation and storytelling skills, proficient in creating visually compelling PowerPoint decks.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable expressing ideas and experimenting.
- A growth mindset with problem-solving aptitude, able to work independently or collaboratively.
- Beneficial technical familiarity with data analytics tools, AI and generative AI concepts, PowerPoint, Excel; knowledge of Python, SQL, and data visualization tools is advantageous.
