About the Role

We support major clients worldwide in executing complex technical projects. We are currently seeking an Estimator with experience in energy or infrastructure sectors to contribute to high-profile UK projects.

Role Responsibilities

  • Generate precise, detailed resource-based cost estimates efficiently, managing the entire estimating process for projects.
  • Independently produce estimates with minimal supervision.
  • Contribute to and promote best practices in estimating across Turner & Townsend.
  • Assist in meeting departmental targets and objectives.
  • Keep up to date with technical developments, offering expert advice aligned with business goals.
  • Participate actively in developing and advancing an Estimating Hub within the region.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional qualification in Estimating or Quantity Surveying along with relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive and varied background in construction projects, preferably including onshore oil and gas sectors.
  • Proven record in providing estimating and quantity surveying services in large project environments.
  • Familiarity with project management, planning, risk assessment, and investment processes.
  • Competence in using RIB Construction Suite/iTWO to at least an intermediate level.
  • Membership in a recognized professional body with chartered status and/or a degree level education.
  • Preferred degree in quantity surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • Membership in RICS, CIOB, or A. Cost E. is desirable.
