Estimator - Aluminium Windows & Doors

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator specializing in aluminium windows and doors to join our team in Witham. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £42,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare precise cost estimates and quotations for a premium range of aluminium window and door products.
• Lead the sales office operations including managing quotations, processing orders, overseeing workflow, and monitoring team performance.
• Provide coaching and development support to estimators and office staff to enhance accuracy, productivity, and customer service standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Technical, and Customer Service departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Promote continuous improvement by refining processes, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring quality and compliance are maintained to high standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven estimating experience within the construction sector.
• Preferably held roles with seniority such as team leader, leadership, or managerial responsibilities.
• Experience with aluminium windows, PVC windows, doorsets, fenestration, or similar products is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Logikal software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Effective relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
• Motivated, ambitious, and energetic attitude.
