What you will do
- Review AI-generated text for clarity, accuracy, tone, and organization.
- Apply thoughtful editorial judgment to content that is complex or open to interpretation.
- Write concise, well-structured feedback that explains proposed edits and revisions.
- Check content for consistency, quality, and compliance with style guidance.
- Handle assignments independently and asynchronously according to your own schedule.
Profile
- Strong advanced-level English writing and editing ability, with a keen eye for detail.
- Master’s degree or above in English, Humanities, Journalism, or a closely related discipline.
- Comfortable making high-stakes editorial decisions on nuanced material.
- Excellent precision and the ability to work methodically at scale.
- Self-directed, dependable, and able to produce high-quality work without supervision.
- Must be located in the United States.
Preferred background
- Experience in professional editing, publishing, or content strategy.
- Working knowledge of style manuals such as AP, Chicago, or MLA.
- Exposure to AI content review or annotation processes.
