What you will do

• Review AI-generated text for clarity, accuracy, tone, and organization.
• Apply thoughtful editorial judgment to content that is complex or open to interpretation.
• Write concise, well-structured feedback that explains proposed edits and revisions.
• Check content for consistency, quality, and compliance with style guidance.
• Handle assignments independently and asynchronously according to your own schedule.

Profile

• Strong advanced-level English writing and editing ability, with a keen eye for detail.
• Master’s degree or above in English, Humanities, Journalism, or a closely related discipline.
• Comfortable making high-stakes editorial decisions on nuanced material.
• Excellent precision and the ability to work methodically at scale.
• Self-directed, dependable, and able to produce high-quality work without supervision.
• Must be located in the United States.

Preferred background

• Experience in professional editing, publishing, or content strategy.
• Working knowledge of style manuals such as AP, Chicago, or MLA.
• Exposure to AI content review or annotation processes.
