Compensation

The assignment pays between $20 and $30 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Convert audio recordings into clear, accurate written English while preserving the intended meaning and formatting.
• Review transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, readability, and overall consistency.
• Follow client instructions and any project-specific transcription rules closely.
• Protect sensitive material and manage confidential information responsibly.
• Complete assigned transcription work within the required timelines.

Required skills and qualifications

• Strong command of English, including excellent listening comprehension.
• Previous experience in transcription, editing, or proofreading.
• Careful attention to detail and the ability to work within structured guidelines.
• Typing proficiency of at least 60 words per minute.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setup.
