Role Overview

The Director of Learning and Development is tasked with creating and managing Indigo U, a strategic initiative aimed at fostering a culture of continual learning. The Director oversees the enterprise learning system, responsible for designing, delivering, governing, and refining learning programs across Home Office, Retail, and Distribution Centre divisions.

  • Design customized learning experiences and curricula grounded in adult learning theories, emphasizing practice, reinforcement, and application.
  • Drive organizational change and adoption related to learning initiatives and capability programs.
  • Create scalable development pathways suitable for frontline employees, leaders, and corporate teams.

Reporting and Key Relationships

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise-wide adult learning principles, instructional design, leadership development, and capability-building strategies.
  • Proven experience crafting tailored learning curricula for frontline staff, corporate employees, and leadership levels.
  • Proficiency with learning technologies, including LMS/LXP platforms, digital learning, and measurement frameworks for learning efficacy.
  • A data-driven approach capable of transforming insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Creativity and resilience in leadership and strategy execution.
