Data Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are seeking a curious and detail-focused Data Analytics Intern to join a fast-growing stealth startup remotely. This role offers a unique chance to collaborate extensively with founding teams, gaining practical experience in data extraction, dashboard creation, and supporting data-driven decisions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, and examine both structured and unstructured data sets.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
• Develop and update dashboards and reports to provide valuable business insights.
• Craft efficient SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data effectively.
• Help establish KPIs and performance metrics for business evaluation.
• Work in coordination with product, marketing, and business units.
• Communicate findings clearly and provide actionable insights.

Qualification Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic skills in SQL are necessary.
• Familiar with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with real datasets or data analysis projects.
• Understanding of business metrics and how to monitor performance.
• Exposure to A/B testing or other statistical analysis methods.
