About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Content Moderation & Quality Assurance Specialist to join a leading global technology company on an 11-month onsite contract in Greater Dublin. This role offers the chance to improve AI-driven content moderation systems by ensuring decisions meet high standards of quality, consistency, and policy adherence. The position focuses on Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance, and refining moderation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and validate content moderation outcomes for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with policies.
- Support training and enhancement of AI models used in content moderation.
- Develop and maintain "Golden Sets" that measure and calibrate moderation quality.
- Collaborate closely with external vendor teams to enhance quality, provide feedback, and coordinate calibration tasks.
- Examine quality metrics to identify trends and areas for moderating improvement.
- Recommend and assist in process enhancements across moderation workflows and tools.
- Work with Operations, Policy, and Leadership teams on initiatives aimed at boosting quality standards.
- Engage in training activities and keep updated on moderation policies and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Content Moderation, Quality Assurance, Trust and Safety, or a related discipline.
- Capacity to handle graphic, sensitive, and potentially disturbing content with resilience.
- Strong background in production, program management, or investigations, capable of analyzing complex cases and spotting quality issues.
- Experience in structured, regimented operational settings.
- Proficiency in interpreting policies, rationalizing enforcement decisions, and explaining guidelines clearly.
- Deep understanding of content moderation policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate well across teams.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience overseeing external vendor or operational partner relationships.
- Familiarity creating Golden Sets or leading vendor calibration sessions.
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with content moderation and quality assurance software platforms.
- Understanding of industry standards and best practices in Trust and Safety.
- Certifications related to Content Moderation, Trust and Safety, or similar areas.
