The opportunity

This full-time Canberra-based position sits within the after-hours operations team. The main focus is resident wellbeing and the overall safety, security, and overnight oversight of the building.

What you will do

  • Keep watch over building safety and security, including perimeter checks and handling urgent issues or emergencies during the shift.
  • Complete administrative duties such as record keeping, payment processing, audits, and reporting.
  • Manage incidents during night duty, including complaints, disputes, and conflict resolution.
  • Be a welcoming point of contact for residents who need help, information, or welfare support.
  • Handle resident calls relating to noise, disturbances, and lockouts.
  • Take part in required training sessions and mandatory staff meetings.

Working pattern

This role requires availability for evening and overnight shifts across a Monday to Sunday roster of 38 hours per week. If a scheduled shift falls on a public holiday, attendance is required.
