Job Overview
As a Commis II, you will be an essential member of the kitchen team, responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving dishes that delight guests and encourage them to return.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and maintain high standards of product quality and presentation.
- Support Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, and Commis I with mise-en-place tasks aligned with standard recipes.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings arranged by hotel management to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ensure production achieves high quality while managing cost control effectively.
- Use time efficiently to meet deadlines and service requirements.
- Assist the Demi Chef de Partie with preparing and distributing food items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workplace and storage areas, adhering strictly to HACCP safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a formal culinary diploma or an equivalent certification.
- Have at least two years of experience working as a Commis chef within a large international hotel.
