About Heritage Lifecare and Te Wiremu House Lifecare
Join the team at Te Wiremu House Lifecare, an 85-bed care home and hospital in Gisborne, New Zealand. Our organization is committed to providing exceptional care within a warm, supportive community. Role Overview
- Permanent full-time role requiring 32 or more hours weekly.
- Shifts include mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
- Hourly wage of $31.23.
As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering attentive, compassionate care to residents, ensuring their wellbeing through kindness, patience, and professionalism.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience caring for others, preferably within aged care.
- Minimum NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent, including overseas credentials such as a Bachelor or Diploma in Nursing.
- Dementia care experience or qualifications are advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities.
- At least six months' relevant caregiving or similar experience.
- A genuine passion for helping others coupled with excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to health and safety standards.
