Business Setup Consultant

About the Role

We seek a highly knowledgeable Business Setup Consultant who possesses comprehensive insight into the UAE business ecosystem, including Mainland, various Freezones, and DIFC company frameworks. This position transcends basic license processing by providing strategic guidance, assisting clients in selecting the most suitable jurisdiction, company structure, and setup aligned with their business and taxation objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a reliable advisor to entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate clients entering the UAE market.
• Advise on choosing appropriate jurisdictions such as Mainland, Freezone, or DIFC based on client needs.
• Provide consultation on business operations, ownership models, and regulatory stipulations.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of UAE Mainland company formation and major Freezones like IFZA, DMCC, Meydan, etc.
• Expertise in DIFC structures including holding companies, family offices, and prescribed corporate entities.
• Offer guidance on cross-border corporate structuring and international expansion strategies.
• Align clients’ business activities with correct licensing authorities, ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Manage DIFC holding setups and assist high-net-worth individuals with family wealth structuring, asset protection, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance departments for complex corporate structuring.
• Oversee end-to-end company formation processes, coordinating with PRO, compliance, banking, and tax teams to facilitate documentation, approvals, and licensing.
• Support clients in corporate bank account openings while ensuring KYC, AML compliance, and due diligence readiness.
• Drive sales by converting qualified leads into clients and upselling additional services like accounting, taxation, auditing, and office solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in UAE business setup consultancy.
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE Mainland and Freezone licensing procedures.
• Expertise in DIFC company regulations and structures.
• Familiarity with business activities and regulatory approval processes.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and international investors.
• Robust knowledge of UAE corporate tax laws and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to close deals and manage clients of significant value.
