About the Role
We are seeking proactive and customer-oriented Business Development Executives to drive merchant onboarding and expand the use of PhonePe's digital payment products throughout India. This position is suited for energetic sales professionals who enjoy engaging with business clients and are motivated to consistently meet or exceed sales goals while fostering strong merchant partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with prospective merchants to promote PhonePe payment and business solutions.
- Conduct on-ground visits to cultivate leads and procure new business within designated regions.
- Demonstrate and present PhonePe’s offerings to potential clients effectively.
- Ensure smooth set-up, activation, and onboarding of merchants onto the platform.
- Train merchants on product usage and provide fundamental operational support for optimal experience.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current merchants to boost satisfaction and retention.
- Meet or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets while upholding high-quality standards.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily reports on activities, sales progress, and market insights to supervisors.
- Analyze local market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to uncover new business opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum education qualification: completion of 12th grade; graduates preferred.
- Both fresh graduates and candidates with experience are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation capabilities are essential.
- Self-driven individuals capable of working independently toward sales objectives.
- Possession of an Android smartphone is required.
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel within the allocated territory.
Compensation and Perks
- Monthly salary ranging from ₹35,000 to ₹40,000.
