Appointed Person - Night Shift

Role Overview

A prominent international contracting firm managing a large-scale construction project in Riyadh is seeking a seasoned appointed person to oversee night shift operations. The appointed person will take charge of planning, coordinating, managing, and controlling all crane lifting activities across the site.

Key Responsibilities

This role includes ensuring that all lifting operations performed by the managing contractor and subcontractors are thoroughly planned, properly supervised, and carried out safely following the Project Lifting Management Plan.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must possess valid appointed person certification aligned with BS 7121 Safe Use of Cranes. The certification should comprehensively cover areas such as the planning of lifting activities, conducting risk assessments, lift categorisation, preparation of method statements, selection of appropriate cranes, understanding of lifting accessories and load charts, evaluation of ground conditions, effective communication, site supervision, and emergency procedures.
