Overview
We are looking to hire a meticulous and capable Accountant cum Office Assistant to contribute to our team. This position plays a vital role in managing both financial accounting and general administrative duties within our company.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain precise financial records using accounting software.
- Handle invoice preparation, billing, and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Assist in generating financial statements and reports.
- Oversee office supply management and procurement.
- Coordinate daily office operations to maintain efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Support scheduling for meetings, appointments, and corporate events.
- Manage incoming communication, including phone calls and greeting visitors.
- Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and databases.
- Manage both electronic and physical document filing systems.
- Provide support to management in report and presentation preparation.
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
- Maintain confidentiality concerning financial records and employee information.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience working as an accountant or in a related capacity.
- Proficiency with accounting tools like Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline is preferred.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Familiarity with payroll administration and tax regulations.
- Basic knowledge of HR responsibilities and relevant employment laws.
- Capability to prioritize workload and work independently.
