About the Role
This full-time permanent position based in Napier, Hawke's Bay, involves a dynamic combination of sales and account management. As an Account Manager, your core responsibility will be to manage and expand an existing customer portfolio while actively building new client relationships to enhance market share in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Discovering and capitalising on new sales prospects within both current customers and fresh markets.
- Maintaining consistent contact to stay ahead of client needs and market changes.
- Coordinating with team members and communicating stock levels, delivery schedules, and pricing details to clients.
- Participating in building industry and trade events to remain informed of industry trends.
- Engaging with the local community to promote brand recognition and foster connections.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development, preferably with familiarity in the building sector.
- A proactive self-starter exhibiting superior organisational skills.
- A resilient, solution-oriented sales professional driven to grow their client base.
- Exceptional communication capabilities coupled with a strong motivation and work ethic.
- A practical, community-focused individual invested in long-term trustworthy relationships.
- Possession of a clean, full New Zealand driver's license.
